As many of you may know, Eid ul Adha is coming up this weekend! For those of you who don’t know, Eid ul Adha is the second “eid” (holiday/celebration) of the Islamic calendar. It commemorates the end of Hajj, the pilgrimage to Mecca that many Muslims make once in their lifetime. Muslims gather to celebrate on this joyous day. It’s all about looking good, wishing the best for everyone, and of course, eating well.
Did I mention that eating well is a must on eid? Food plays a big role on eid…each culture around the world has its own traditional foods and specialties that usually involve mouthwatering meats, sweets, and so much more. This Eid ul Adha 2014, I teamed up with my friends Wardah over at BestofWardah to create a fun, mouthwatering menu that you can use for inspiration to celebrate as well!
So prepare yourself for a week long adventure of mouthwatering, oh-so-tempting dishes to make anyone rejoice on the day of eid! Drinks: Masala Milk and Mango Milkshake
Appetizers: Chicken Cutlets
